A Little About Me
I graduated with honors from the City College of New York, where I earned
a Bachelor of Science in Bilingual Education. I am certified to teach ESOL,
Spanish, and students at the primary level. In 2008 I attained my
National Boards Certification in Literacy.
Before coming to Silver Palms I taught third grade for five years. Here at
this magnificent school I have spent eight terrific years teaching first
grade and four teaching second grade.
During my free time I love to hang out with my family, read on my IPAD, take
dance classes, watch the show called El Gordo Y La Flaca ( the fat guy and
the skinny lady ) and I LOVE , LOVE to visit museums. My dream is to open
up my own children’s museum one day.
I live with two wonderful guys- my husband Bobby and my son Armand who will
be attending FIU this fall. My lovable dog named Jadin also lives with us.
Mission For The Class
Through my teaching I hope to inspire each child to live up to his or her
full potential.
